For more than twenty years, New England native Tom Rettig has focused on magazine-style community storytelling. As a photographer, photojournalist, and videographer, his work ranges from community journalism to institutional storytelling. Whether he is shooting a portrait or an in-depth photojournalistic story, his skilled photographic eye allows him to capture an unspoken understanding of his subject. Tom has won multiple awards of excellence from Pictures of the Year International, and was named photographer of the year by the National Press Photographers Association. He was also a Pulitzer finalist for coverage of the Worcester Cold Storage Fire. In his work, Tom strives to use his unique perspective to foster a deeper connection to the community.
